Hello, I'm Billy Van Ho, and I have a remarkable journey that has shaped who I am today. I was born in a Cambodian concentration camp during the Communist Khmer regime. Sadly, my father lost his life due to his race and social standing. However, my mother's determination to give us a better life led us to escape the camp just two weeks after my birth in 1976. We sought refuge in Thailand and eventually found a safe haven in California in 1980. 🙌

Growing up in urban Los Angeles, specifically in the Echo Park Area, I witnessed the struggles and triumphs of my fellow Cambodian refugees. As my family achieved success, we moved to the San Gabriel Valley, where we proudly purchased our first home in Rosemead in 1997. I completed my education at San Gabriel High School and spent most of my young adulthood in Rosemead before making the move to Hacienda Heights in 2005.

The absence of my father in my life taught me the value of perseverance and resilience. I watched my single mother overcome challenges, which instilled in me a drive to succeed. Juggling two jobs as a proof operator at a bank and a telemarketer for an insurance agency, I also pursued my college education. It was during this time that I discovered my natural ability to build relationships and assist customers. Recognizing my passion for helping others, I made the pivotal decision to obtain my insurance license and embarked on a career in the insurance industry. This choice not only brought professional success but also introduced me to the love ❤of my life, Lisa, whom I met while working as an insurance agent (and yes, she was a prospect). We've been together for over fifteen years now and have been blessed with three beautiful children.👩‍👩‍👦

I joined State Farm as an agent in 2011 because I have a genuine passion for educating customers about insurance and ensuring that their most treasured possessions are protected. Together with my bilingual team, we prioritize on delivering excellent customer service and meeting the individual needs of our customers.

During my free time, I truly value the moments spent with my family, supporting my children in their sports activities, exploring new destinations through travel, indulging in my love for cooking, and nurturing my passion for cars. As a dedicated fan, I proudly cheer for our local professional teams, including the Lakers, Dodgers, and Rams. 🏀⚾🏈
